San Antonio Speedway Local Classes

The premier class at San Antonio Speedway are the Late Models.  They must weigh a minimum of 3000 lbs. and run on 10" tires. Late Models from the Texas Super Racing Series and nearby Thunder Hill Raceway are allowed to race in this class.

The Sportsman class is made up of Street Stocks.  The cars utilize a stock chassis and must weigh at least 3300 pounds .

Also known as Pure Stocks, the Road Runner class offers affordable racing for beginners. These cars have a minimum wheelbase of 108".

The Grand Stock class is intended to be a fun, inexpensive class for beginners. This class consists of completely stock passenger cars with a 110-inch minimum wheel base.
